People who come to this country because they believe they can build a better life. Every week immigrants from all over the world take the oath of citizenship in courthouses, libraries and auditoriums across the country, without much pomp or circumstance. He is often featured on both ESPN TV and national radio shows such as "The Herd" with Colin Cowherd. A 14-year veteran of the L.A. radio market, Dave previously worked as the sideline reporter on the Kings radio broadcast and the locker room reporter for the team's website. In addition to his radio career, he serves as the fill-in PA Announcer for the Ontario Reign of the ECHL and the LA Galaxy of Major League Soccer. Dave also did PA for the Long Beach Ice Dogs of the ECHL and spent several years with Westwood One providing traffic updates for KNX 1070 News Radio and Sirius-XM Satellite Radio. At the age of 16, Dave started his radio career in his hometown of Ishpeming, Michigan. He attended Hofstra University on Long Island where he majored in communications and played hockey for four years. He served as team captain during his senior season and was selected as a first-team All-Star twice. Dave also went on to coach at Hofstra following his playing career. Dave's first full-time radio job came as the engineer for the morning show on 770 WABC in New York City. He also engineered for Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and former mayor Rudy Giuliani. Following a stint producing talk radio programs in Providence, Rhode Island, Dave took his talents west to Los Angeles where he showcased his comedic ability as the morning show co-host on the Comedy World Radio Network. Since landing in Southern California, Dave has covered four Stanley Cup Finals, several NHL Entry Drafts and has been featured as a hockey analyst on numerous radio and international television programs. She is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she grew up with a sister and 6 brothers (is it any wonder she covers sports? 4 of them participated in Divison 1 College athletics.) She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Charlie and their dog Teddy. Steve Mason started his radio career in Southern California in 1992, working at XTRA 690 in San Diego. Previously, Mason had worked in Toledo, Ohio at WRQN. He is a graduate of Bowling Green State University, where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. It was in San Diego that he first teamed with John Ireland, a San Diego television sports reporter, in what eventually became The Big Show with Mason & Ireland. The show ran for over five years and for a time also aired on Fox Sports West cable television. From 1996 to 1998 Mason hosted the Late, Late Radio Show with Tom Snyder and Steve Mason for the CBS Radio network. He later did a stint for WNEW 102.7 FM (now WWFS) in New York City (The Anti Show with Steve Mason & Sue Kolinsky) before teaming with Jim Lampley on the Fox Sports Radio Network ("We Are There with Steve Mason & Jim Lampley). The show ran from 2000 to 2003. In 2003, Mason and Ireland would re-team in The Big Show with Mason & Ireland, now in Los Angeles for the local ESPN radio outlet, AM710 KSPN. Until late 2007, they had the weekday afternoon 4-7pm drive time slot. In November 2007, in a shuffling of on air talent, Ireland was let go by the station, and Mason was moved to his present 1 to 4pm early afternoon shift. John Ireland came back 6 months later and their time slot was changed from 2-6pm.

In running large athletic events, the impression a PA Announcer can have on all fans is an important one — and I never had to think twice about the positive impression that I knew someone would leave with when Dave was behind the mic. I could always breathe a breath of fresh air because I knew his job would be done with incredible professionalism, enthusiasm and great attention to detail.  Simply stated, our events were better because of his presence and great communication to all in attendance.
